Clash of Clans TH18 Expected Release Date and Details

Clash of Clans has recently and consistently released new Town Hall upgrades every year. It keeps the game fresh, almost giving a new overhaul to attacks and defenses throughout the year.

In 2025, players are expecting the new Town Hall 18 (TH18) in November. Here’s everything you need to know about Clash of Clans’ TH18 update.

When is Town Hall 18 Releasing in Clash of Clans?

In every big Town Hall release recently, Supercell, the studio behind Clash of Clans, has always announced a Hammer Jam event before its release. The Hammer Jam event halves upgrade timers and costs, while also boosting resources for collectors, allowing everyone to help them catch up.

Since there’s an end date to these Hammer Jam events, one can speculate – or it’s practically a given at this point – that Town Hall 18 will be released on November 17, a Monday. In their previous TH17 release, they also did the same, showcasing the new content that would come with the new TH18 throughout the weekend before the release.

What Changes Are Coming to TH18 in Clash of Clans?

Supercell is way more cryptic in releasing details of the TH18, even withholding what the new TH18 will look like. Nevertheless, we can surely expect many new upgrades to defenses, resources, and troops. Don’t expect every building and troop to have new upgrades, as they have always staggered these major changes throughout the year after the release of a new Town Hall.

Every Town Hall upgrade throughout Clash of Clans’ history had always introduced new troops and buildings. However, Supercell has confirmed that there won’t be new equipment levels.

All Building Upgrades and Guardians Changes

• Town Hall 18 Guardians – Smasher and Longshot.
  • They guard the Town Hall like heroes and also don’t defend while upgrading, so you must switch or alternate between Smasher and Longshot.
• Super Wizard Tower – merging of two Wizard Towers.
• Super Wizard Tower goes up to level 2.
• Barracks goes up to level 19.
• Spell Factory goes up to level 9.
• Hero Hall goes up to level 12.
• Clan Castle goes up to level 14.
  • Adds another spell slot capacity.
• Gold and Elixir Storage go up to level 19.
• Dark Elixir Storage goes up to level 13.
• Spell Factory goes up to level 9.
• Laboratory goes up to level 16.
• Clan Castle goes up to level 14.
• Elixir Collectors and Gold Mines go up to level 17.
• Dark Elixir Drill goes up to level 11.
• Ricochet Cannon goes up to level 4.
• Bomb Tower goes up to level 13.
• Multi-Gear Tower goes up to level 3.
• Air Defenses go up to level 16.
• Multi-Archer Towers goes up to level 4.

• Barbarian King and Archer Queen go up to level 105.

• Wall Breaker and its super version go up to level 14.
• Wizard goes up to level 14.

• Dragon Rider goes up to level 6.
