Where is the Smuggler’s Tunnel Extraction Location in Interchange in Escape from Tarkov?
Is Interchange the best map now?!
Escape from Tarkov’s 1.0 launch has expanded the Interchange map in a massive way. There are way more things outside, including the removal of the Hole in the Fence and the addition of the Smuggler’s Tunnel extraction points.
With an expanded area, everyone running Interchange should know the Smuggler’s Tunnel, and here’s a quick guide showing you where to find it in Escape from Tarkov.
Smuggler’s Tunnel Extraction Location in Interchange in Escape from Tarkov

The Smuggler’s Tunnel extraction is in the expanded area of the Interchange map. You must bring a Green Flare, similar to how you would extract from Klimov Street in Streets of Tarkov or any green flare extraction point.
While in Interchange, go outside the mall to the side of the Scav Camp (Co-op extract) and the Railway Exfil. Use the map above to get your bearings.

Head to the forest, and you’ll see train tracks that lead to the Railway Exfil if you follow the tracks east. Follow it the opposite way, in the direction of the Customs transit location. You’ll see a bunch of freight containers and some trains.

Work your way up the hill and follow the path going into the freight containers that act as “bridges” going to the camp. After crossing the containers, turn left or follow the red arrow in the image above.

Follow this path, and it should lead to a large camp with a lot of loot, but also a lot of Scavs. It should also be a hotspot because of the potential loot you can find here.

If you head to the northeast corner of the camp, you’ll find a checkpoint leading somewhere. There’s a blue freight container with a red star that you can use as a marker. Go to the checkpoint, and it should say “Signal Flare,” which signifies that you need to shoot a flare. Shoot the green flare and move forward to extract.
